You have questions.
Here are the answers.

I didn't discover these problems in a consultant's report. I lived them with
my own trucks, on my own routes.

Importer Questions

Q1. How do I know transporters are reliable?

Every transporter is manually verified before activation: ID, vehicle registration, insurance, and valid port Gate Pass. We reject around 30% of applications. You also see ratings and trip history before booking.

Q2. What does it really cost? Are there hidden fees?

The price you see is the price you pay. No booking fee, no platform fee. Our 15% commission is paid by the transporter, not by you. You get an automatic PDF invoice after every delivery.

Q3. What happens if my cargo arrives damaged or late?

Open a dispute in the app within 48 hours with photo evidence. Our team arbitrates within 48 hours using GPS history, timestamps, and both parties' statements. Disputes are resolved before the transporter receives final payment.

Q4. Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, free of charge until the transporter arrives at the loading point. After loading starts, cancellation fees apply to compensate the transporter for time and fuel.

Transporter Questions

Q1. When exactly do I get paid?

The moment you confirm cargo loading at the port — not weeks later. Funds land in your YamoFret wallet. Withdraw anytime to Mobile Money or your bank account.

Q2. What's the catch with 0% commission for 30 days?

There is none. We want you to test the platform risk-free. After 30 days, a flat 15% commission applies on each confirmed trip — fully transparent, shown before you accept any job.

Q3. Do I need to be tech-savvy to use YamoFret?

No. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use YamoFret. The app is in French and English, designed for one-tap actions. Free onboarding call available if you need help getting started.

Q4. What is a Gate Pass and why is it required?

A Gate Pass is the official permit to enter Douala and Kribi port areas, issued by port authorities. Without a valid Gate Pass, you can't pick up containers — it's not a YamoFret rule, it's a port requirement. We help you understand the process if needed.
